Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. As a Infant Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the early educational experiences of our students, ensuring they are engaged and excited about learning. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all children. Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians. Facilitate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development. Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques. Collaborate with other educators and staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and behavior. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns. Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education and participate in professional development opportunities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Experience working with preschool-aged children in a daycare or educational setting is highly desirable. Knowledge of early childhood education principles, including behavior management strategies. First aid certification is a plus; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held. Skills in toddler care, special education, babysitting, nannying, infant care, or daycare are advantageous. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and families. Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young children.
