Responsibilities Supervise and engage children during daily activities, playtime, meals, naps, and outings to promote safety and enjoyment. Implement age-appropriate educational programs that support childhood development milestones. Provide first aid and handle minor injuries promptly while following safety protocols. Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages learning and creativity. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, behavior, and needs. Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies. Skills Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development stages. Ability to perform first aid and respond effectively in emergency situations. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable. Strong classroom management skills to foster a safe and structured environment. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with parents, colleagues, and children.
