Job Description
Position Overview Discovery Kidzone is seeking a Full-Time Infant & Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. This position supports the development and daily care of infants and toddlers in a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment. We are looking for caring, dependable educators who enjoy working with young children and are passionate about supporting early learning through play, routines, and responsive interactions. Responsibilities Provide attentive care and supervision for infants and toddlers throughout the day Support daily routines including feeding, diapering, napping, and playtime Prepare bottles and follow proper food storage and sanitation procedures Create engaging learning experiences through music, sensory activities, storytelling, and movement Encourage children's social, emotional, cognitive, and motor development Maintain a calm, safe, and positive classroom environment Observe and document children's daily activities and developmental progress Communicate professionally with families regarding routines and milestones Collaborate with teachers and staff to support classroom operations Maintain cleanliness and organization in accordance with health and safety standards Qualifications Must be at least 16 years old CPR and First Aid certification required within 30 days of hire Previous childcare experience is helpful but not required Interest in infant and toddler development Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to remain patient, attentive, and organized in a fast-paced environment Willingness to complete required state trainings and licensing requirements Professional Development & Support Discovery Kidzone provides: Paid onboarding and classroom training Ongoing professional development opportunities Support for CDA and Montessori certification pathways Opportunities for career growth within early childhood education Benefits Eligible full-time employees may receive: Competitive pay based on education and experience Health, dental, and vision insurance options Telehealth services 401(k) retirement plan Paid time off and sick leave Childcare tuition discounts Staff appreciation events and team activities Opportunities for advancement within a growing organization Join Our Team At Discovery Kidzone, we believe early childhood education should be engaging, supportive, and centered around meaningful connections.
