The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a strong understanding of early childhood education principles, as well as the ability to engage children in meaningful learning experiences. The Toddler Teacher will work closely with parents and caregivers to support each child's growth and development. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration. Provide high-quality care for toddlers and preschool-aged children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages creativity, curiosity, and respect among students. Utilize behavior management techniques to guide children's behavior and promote positive interactions. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, challenges, and achievements. Collaborate with other educators to create an inclusive environment for all children, including those with special needs. Maintain accurate records of children's development and progress in accordance with educational standards. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Experience Previous experience in toddler care, nannying, or daycare settings is preferred. A background in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable. Experience working with students who have special educational needs is a plus. Familiarity with behavior management strategies to support children's emotional growth is essential. Demonstrated ability to educate young children through hands-on activities and interactive learning experiences. Experience in infant care is an asset but not required.
