Job Description

Preschool Lead and Assistant Teacher Needed at Kiddie Academy of Asheville. Training Provided! Join Our Passionate Team and Help Shape Young Minds! Are you a nurturing, energetic, and creative individual who loves working with children? We're looking for compassionate educators who bring enthusiasm, teamwork, and a positive attitude to everything they do. What You'll Do:
As a key part of our early childhood team, you'll play an active role in nurturing young learners through meaningful, play-based experiences.
Your day will include:
Providing a safe, engaging, and loving classroom environment Supporting children's personal care, hygiene, and emotional well-being Leading age-appropriate activities that foster physical, social, and emotional growth Encouraging hands-on learning with thoughtfully prepared materials and activities Collaborating with a dynamic team of teachers and communicating closely with families
What We're Looking For:
A cheerful, friendly, and professional presence Strong communication skills and a natural ability to connect with kids, families, and colleagues Reliable, flexible, and committed to creating a nurturing learning space Able to lift up to 40 lbs consistently as part of daily classroom duties Qualifications for
Lead Teacher Roles:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field OR a degree plus at least 12 semester hours in early childhood coursework Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience in a childcare or preschool setting
