Nursery Worker

Montmorenci United Methodist Church Nursery Worker Duties & Responsibilities Position Summary The Nursery Worker supports the care and of children in the church nursery by providing a safe, clean, nurturing, and welcoming environment for children and families during Sunday morning activities.

Hours:

Approximately 2-3 hours per week

Compensation:

$20 per hour Responsibilities Follow all church and United Methodist Safe Sanctuary policies and attend required trainings. Maintain a clean, safe, and developmentally appropriate nursery environment. Supervise and care for children entrusted to the nursery. Ensure nursery safety procedures are followed, including awareness of fire exits and emergency plans. Maintain nursery attendance records, including sign-in/sign-out information and incident notes when needed. Report accidents, injuries, or significant incidents using church procedures. Help monitor volunteers to ensure appropriate care and supervision of children at all times. Keep nursery areas organized, stocked, and welcoming. Complete a background check as required by church policy. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
