Job Description
We are currently searching for an amazing Lead teacher to join our school.
Teachers are responsible for:
arriving to work as scheduled and on time and ready to place their focus on the care and education of the children going to and returning from scheduled breaks on time implementing curriculum planning additional activities to enhance the learning experience following a daily schedule communicate with families via phone, app and in-person creating classroom displays to showcase learning and development enhancing classroom displays and decorations to incorporate theme based learning experiences in accordance with program suggestions and individual ideas all health, safety, accreditation, licensing and sanitation requirements daily cleaning of classroom ensuring the individual needs of each child are met building positive relationships with families cultivating a nurturing and safe learning environment
We are open from 7am-6pm Monday thru Friday.
Schedules are set to meet the needs of the classroom, with paid holidays and personal time after 90 days and paid vacation at one year anniversary for full time staff. Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
Required Skills and Experience:
North Carolina lead teacher qualifications must be met
A love for children and a strong desire to make a difference every day.
Ability to build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happens.
Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and manage multiple situations effectively
Early Childhood Education Experience
CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
NC Qualifying letter
Must be physically able to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.
Must be able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children.
Ability to speak, read, and write English.
