Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to inspire and nurture young learners during their formative years. In this role, you will create a vibrant, safe, and engaging classroom environment that promotes holistic development. Your enthusiasm for early childhood education will help foster curiosity, independence, and social-emotional growth in children. As an integral part of our team, you will implement innovative teaching strategies aligned with best practices in preschool and toddler care, ensuring each child's unique needs are met with compassion and professionalism. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to support childhood development. Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction among children. Manage classroom activities efficiently through effective classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies. Conduct assessments to monitor developmental progress, including standardized testing when appropriate, and tailor lesson plans to individual learning needs. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists in special education and early intervention to support children's overall well-being and learning goals. Facilitate engaging lessons that promote literacy skills, numeracy understanding, and physical activity while fostering a love for learning. Ensure child welfare by maintaining a safe daycare or preschool setting compliant with all health and safety regulations. Requirements Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting, including classroom experience with toddlers and preschoolers. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies. Familiarity with curriculum development across various subjects such as literacy education, math, physical education, and special education practices. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Demonstrated ability to plan lessons using innovative methods like Montessori or other child-centered approaches. Certification or qualification in early childhood education or related fields is preferred; relevant experience may substitute where applicable. Ability to work collaboratively within a team dedicated to child welfare and educational excellence. Pay:
$17.00 - $25.00 per hour
