Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young learners. The Child Care Teacher will be responsible for implementing engaging lesson plans and fostering a positive classroom atmosphere. Responsibilities Create lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math, and physical education. Manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting positive interactions among students. Provide individualized support to children with special needs through early intervention strategies. Foster a safe and supportive environment for all children, ensuring their welfare and well-being. Conduct assessments to monitor children's progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom space conducive to learning. Collaborate with other educators to enhance the educational experience for all students. Requirements Someone with ECE Credentials preferred, or willing to complete necessary coursework. Experience working with children in daycare, preschool is preferred but not necessary. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques. Familiarity with lesson planning is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to create an inclusive environment that supports diverse learning needs.
