Early Head Start Teacher

Early Head Start Teacher-full time (Jackson County) Are you looking for a new career? Our Early Head Start program is looking for an individual who cares about their community and wants to make a difference and improve the lives of children and families. Minimum qualifications are a Child Development Associate Certificate or Infant/Toddler Certificate. Preferred qualifications are an Early Childhood Education degree from an accredited community college. Supervisory experience working with diverse populations. Has lead responsibility for the primary care of children enrolled in the classroom. Develops and utilizes daily lesson plans, across all domains that are developmentally appropriate for all children. Our staff support the facilitation of developmental screenings, on-going assessments, and recording of outcome data to determine future instruction as well as participate in home visits and parent-teacher conferences as requested by the teacher. Valid driver license and insurance are required. Some travel required and home visits may be necessary. Criminal background checks along with drug testing are required.
