Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, early intervention strategies, and Montessori principles to support holistic childhood development. Lead classroom activities that promote social skills, behavior management, and physical development tailored specifically for toddlers. Manage daily classroom routines, including lesson planning, transitions, and outdoor play to ensure a safe and stimulating environment. Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address individual needs related to special education or developmental delays, and foster strong partnerships. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or student interns, providing guidance on classroom management and instructional techniques. Maintain detailed records of each child's progress, including assessments aligned with standardized testing where applicable. Ensure compliance with childcare regulations, health and safety standards, and best practices in early childhood education. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting, with specific expertise in toddler care and childhood development. Strong knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, behavior management strategies, and classroom management techniques. Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention programs, literacy education, and Montessori methods is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, and team members. Demonstrated ability to create an inclusive environment that supports child welfare and promotes positive social interactions. Prior classroom experience in private schools or daycare centers is preferred; certification in early childhood education or related fields is a plus. Ability to adapt teaching approaches for diverse learning styles and developmental stages while maintaining high standards of childcare excellence.
