Lead Childcare Teacher A Child's Place Christian Academy Greensboro, NCStarting Pay range : $14-$16 per hour M-F 7:30 - 1:30 pm Job Description A Child's Place Christian Academy (ACP) is a Christian-centered early childhood program serving children ages 6 weeks-5 years. We are seeking a nurturing, dependable Lead Teacher who is passionate about early childhood education and excited to help build a positive classroom culture from the ground up. This position is ideal for an educator who loves working with young children, values teamwork, and thrives in a supportive, Christian-centered environment. Responsibilities Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans Create a structured, warm, and engaging classroom environment Guide children's behavior using positive discipline strategies Maintain classroom routines, cleanliness, and organization Observe and document children's developmental progress Build strong, respectful relationships with families Follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations Supervise children at all times Qualifications Experience working with young children Strong classroom management and communication skills Dependable, patient, and team-oriented Comfortable working in a Christian, faith-based environment Meets required childcare credentials Current criminal and childcare background check EDU 119 or
