Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Lead Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will lead classroom activities, develop engaging curricula, and foster a nurturing environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of toddlers. Your passion for working with young children and expertise in early childhood education will inspire curiosity, encourage learning, and support each child's individual growth. Responsibilities Lead daily classroom activities focused on toddler care, early intervention, and literacy education to promote holistic development. Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that incorporate Montessori principles, standardized testing preparation, and hands-on learning experiences. Manage classroom behavior through positive behavior management techniques, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all children. Collaborate with colleagues to plan lessons that integrate physical education, math skills, and social-emotional learning tailored to toddlers' needs. Maintain detailed documentation of each child's progress, including assessments related to childhood development and special education needs. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's milestones, classroom activities, and any concerns regarding child welfare or classroom dynamics. Ensure compliance with all licensing standards, daycare regulations, and best practices in preschool experience and childcare. Skills Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, including curriculum development and classroom management strategies. Proven experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings, especially with toddlers. Expertise in behavior management techniques suitable for young children and familiarity with special education accommodations. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, staff, and community partners. Ability to plan lessons that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical activities, and Montessori methods. Knowledge of standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood assessment tools. Experience in tutoring or teaching physical education tailored for toddlers' developmental stages.
