Job Responsibilities Prepare lessons that meet educational requirements in an age-appropriate manner, and teach in a manner that meets the needs for the ages and abilities of all participating students. Manage a busy classroom environment, and provide the structure and discipline required for successful learning for everyone in the classroom. Provide helpful feedback to parents and guardians on a regular or as-needed basis. Prepare lesson plans for students according to the age, developmental maturity, and needs of the children being taught. During the school year, receive children from the bus in a manner that ensures the children are safe. Provide a prepared snack for the children once they arrive at the center Qualifications Experience with toddlers in a daycare or educational setting Strong background in early childhood education and childcare Proficient in classroom management and behavior management techniques Certification in First Aid and CPR preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles Ability to work with children with special needs or disabilities Experience in bus driving is a plus EDU 119 or
