Job Description

Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Lead Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this pivotal role, you will inspire young learners during their formative years, fostering a nurturing environment that promotes curiosity, growth, and development. As a leader in the classroom, you will implement engaging curricula, support individual needs, and collaborate with families to ensure each child's success. Your passion for early childhood education and expertise in toddler care will help create a joyful and enriching experience for every child. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to stimulate cognitive and social development. Lead classroom activities focused on childhood development milestones, behavior management, and early intervention strategies to support children with diverse needs. Manage daily classroom routines, ensuring a safe, clean, and organized environment that promotes effective classroom management and toddler care. Mentor and supervise assistant teachers and support staff to maintain high standards of childcare and education quality. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones through meetings and written updates. Conduct assessments using standardized testing where appropriate to monitor growth and inform lesson planning. Uphold child welfare policies by ensuring safety protocols are followed diligently at all times. Qualifications You must have completed EDU 119 or hold an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education. Proven experience in early childhood education with a focus on toddlers; preschool experience is highly valued. Strong background in curriculum development, classroom management, and behavior management techniques. Knowledge of special education principles, early intervention strategies, and literacy education practices. Familiarity with Montessori methods, standardized testing procedures, and teaching physical education activities. Excellent communication skills to effectively work with children, families, staff, and community partners. Demonstrated ability to plan lessons that incorporate math skills, childcare best practices, and childhood development theories. Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields; additional qualifications in special education or toddler care are advantageous. Pay:
$14.00 - $18.00 per hour
