The ideal candidate will help us continue to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development with exceptional classroom management skills. This role requires a strong commitment to early childhood education and an understanding of the unique needs of young children as well as their developmental stages. Duties Help Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration. Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a positive learning environment. Foster strong relationships with children, parents, and coworkers to support children's development. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and adapting teaching strategies as needed. Create a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment that encourages curiosity and creativity. Ensure children's safety and well-being. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Adhere to state and health department regulations governing licensed childcare centers. Experience Candidates should possess experience or skills in the following areas: Classroom management techniques tailored for toddler settings. Previous work in early childhood group settings Familiarity with childhood development principles that guide effective teaching strategies. Experience in toddler care, including activities that promote physical, social, and emotional growth as well as redirect children when behaviors arise. Must have EDU 119 or degree in early childhood related field. Candidates who apply and who do not have this requirement will not be considered for this position. Background in childcare is highly desirable. We are looking for applicants who are enthusiastic about making a positive impact on young children's lives through education and care.
