Role:
Join The Learning Tree as a Lead Toddler Teacher and make a difference in the lives of young children! In this role, you will guide and inspire toddlers in a nurturing environment while fostering their growth and development.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to toddlers' developmental needs. Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment. Observe and assess children's progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly. Communicate effectively with parents about their child's development and milestones. Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the learning experience. Maintain a clean and organized classroom space. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices.
Requirements:
EDU 119 or a degree in early childhood or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience working with toddlers in a classroom/ group setting. Strong understanding of child development principles and early childhood education, especially focused on toddlers. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. CPR and First Aid certification preferred. Passion for nurturing young minds and creating a positive learning environment. Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators. Creative and adaptable teaching style that engages young learners.
