Job Description

Overview Happy Kids Development Center is looking for passionate and highly motivated teachers! Join our vibrant educational community as an Early Childhood Teacher, where your passion for early childhood development will inspire and nurture young learners. In this role, you will create a warm, engaging environment that promotes curiosity, social-emotional growth, and foundational skills essential for lifelong learning. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's early years through innovative teaching and compassionate care. Responsibilities Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards and Reggio Inspired practices. Create engaging lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate, cater to the whole child approach, and aligns with NC foundations. Manage classroom activities to promote positive behavior management, social skills, and emotional well-being among children. Foster a safe, nurturing environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and independence in young learners. Maintain clear communication with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, milestones, and any behavioral or developmental concerns. Work with team teachers to maintain a clean organized classroom that acts as the third teacher. Requirements Experience working with children preferably in a preschool or daycare setting. Knowledge of early childhood development principles, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies. Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and children. A qualifying criminal background check. Must be at least 18 years of age.
