Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Lead Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. In this pivotal role, you will lead classroom activities, foster a nurturing environment, and implement developmentally appropriate curricula tailored specifically for toddlers. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire young learners, support their growth across all developmental domains, and promote a love for learning from an early age. As a leader in the classroom, you will collaborate with families, mentor assistant teachers, and ensure that every child's needs are met with care and professionalism. Duties Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that incorporate curriculum development principles, including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods when applicable. Lead daily classroom activities focused on toddler care, early intervention strategies, behavior management, and childhood development milestones. Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that promotes social-emotional growth and child welfare. Manage classroom routines efficiently while maintaining high standards of classroom management and childcare practices. Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address individual needs related to special education or early intervention services, and support ongoing child welfare initiatives. Supervise assistant teachers and support staff to ensure consistent delivery of quality education and care. Conduct ongoing assessments using standardized testing methods when appropriate to monitor developmental progress and inform instructional strategies. Maintain accurate documentation of lesson plans, child observations, behavior reports, and other records necessary for compliance and quality assurance. Experience Proven classroom experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare centers or preschools. Strong background in childhood development theories, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques tailored for toddlers. Experience with special education practices or early intervention programs is highly desirable. Familiarity with Montessori methods or other educational philosophies that promote independence and exploration in young children. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, staff, and community partners. Prior experience in private school environments or similar educational institutions is a plus. Knowledge of standardized testing procedures related to early childhood education is beneficial. Pay:
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
