Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Preschool Lead Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a vibrant, nurturing classroom environment. As a key leader in early childhood education, you will design engaging lesson plans, implement developmentally appropriate activities, and support children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that promote literacy, numeracy, social skills, and physical development aligned with early childhood education standards. Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration. Manage daily classroom activities, including lesson planning, group activities, and individualized instruction tailored to diverse learning needs. Support children's developmental milestones through observation, assessment, and targeted interventions such as early intervention strategies or special education accommodations. Foster positive behavior management techniques to promote respectful interactions and emotional regulation among students. Collaborate with parents and guardians through regular communication regarding student progress and developmental goals. Supervise assistant teachers or teaching aides, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure high-quality classroom management and instructional delivery. Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education. Experience developing curriculum that integrates literacy education, math skills, physical education, and Montessori or other specialized teaching methods. Proven ability working with children across various age groups, including toddlers and preschoolers. Expertise in classroom management techniques that promote a positive learning environment. Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention programs, and behavior management strategies. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, staff, and community partners. Ability to plan lessons effectively using standardized testing results or formative assessments to inform instruction. Knowledge of childcare regulations, daycare standards, and private school requirements related to preschool settings.
