Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Part-Time Daycare Helper to assist teachers and staff in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children. The Daycare Helper will support daily activities, supervise children, maintain cleanliness, and help ensure the smooth operation of the daycare facility. Responsibilities Assist caregivers and teachers with daily classroom activities. Supervise children during playtime, meals, and rest periods. Help prepare and serve snacks and meals. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment. Support children in developing social, emotional, and learning skills. Assist with arts, crafts, games, and educational activities. Help children with basic hygiene needs, including handwashing and restroom routines. Monitor children's behavior and report concerns to supervisors. Follow daycare policies and safety procedures at all times. Communicate professionally with staff and parents when needed. Qualifications Experience working with children is a plus but not required. Ability to interact positively with young children. Reliable, patient, and responsible. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to lift and carry children or supplies as needed. CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
