Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Daycare Worker to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. In this role, you will support early childhood development by engaging with children through educational activities, play, and caregiving routines. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster a positive atmosphere where children can learn, grow, and thrive. Responsibilities Supervise and ensure the safety of children during daily activities, playtime, meals, and rest periods Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote childhood development and learning Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment conducive to learning and play Support children with personal care needs, including diapering, feeding, and comforting as necessary Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage social skills and emotional regulation Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress and daily experiences Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when needed Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus Strong classroom management skills with the ability to handle diverse needs of young children effectively Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and engage with parents or guardians Ability to work flexible hours in a dynamic environment that values safety, creativity, and compassion A genuine passion for caring for children and supporting their growth through nurturing caregiving practices

From $12.50 per hour
