Childcare Primary Provider Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with children and creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for them to thrive.

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive care to children in a daycare setting from age 6 week to 13 years old
• Implement behavior management techniques to encourage positive interactions
• Utilize knowledge of early childhood education principles to support learning and development
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities such as arts and crafts, games, and outdoor play
• Assist with infant care including feeding, diapering, and soothing
• Support preschool-aged children in their social, emotional, and cognitive growth
• Maintain a well-organized classroom environment conducive to learning
• Educate children on basic concepts through interactive and fun teaching methods
• Attending 12 hours of continuing education throughout the year (opportunities provided)
• Prepare meals and menu plan
• Must pass a background check and complete the

Nebraska State Patrol Fingerprinting Experience:

• Proven experience working in childcare, daycare, or related environments
• Familiarity with classroom management techniques
• Ability to multitask and prioritize the needs of multiple children
• Strong communication skills with both children and parents/guardians

Skills:

Ability to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children. Daycare/babysitting experience preferred Behavior management skills Early childhood education knowledge Proficiency in infant care Classroom management abilities Classroom organization skills Passion for educating young minds
