Job Description

Our client is looking caring, nurturing, and energetic Early Childhood Teachers to join their premier preschool in Derry, NH. These are Direct Hire positions with the school Full-time; Monday-Friday; year-round employment Open Positions Lead Infant Teacher
  • working with children 6-weeks
  • to 12-months-old and the schedule would require at least two closing shifts Lead Toddler Teacher
  • working with children 18-months
  • to 2.9-years-old and the schedule would require at least two closing shifts Lead Infant/Toddler Teacher
  • working with children 12-months
  • to 18-months-old and the schedule would require at least two closing shifts
Salary Lead Teachers:
$19.00
  • 22.
00/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience Benefits Professional Development Assistance; 18 paid hours and they provide whatever is needed Paid Holidays; 11 holidays and paid week between the week of Christmas and New Years Day Health/Dental Insurance; Employer pays 50% of premium Child-Enrollment Discount; $125 per week and per child Continuing Education Assistance Paid Time Off; 5 days 401(k) with match Responsibilities Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children Responsible for the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities and curriculum as well as the maintenance of educational portfolios Supervise and engage children in educational and play activities Maintain a clean and organized classroom Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care Communicate with parents about their child's progress and any concerns Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment Participate in training sessions, workshops, and staff meetings to enhance your skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education Qualifications
REQUIRED
Lead Teacher Education:
18 Early Childhood Education courses/credits OR Child Development Associate Certification (CDA) OR Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field
REQUIRED
Lead Teacher Experience:
1 year of experience working with children between 6 weeks and 5 years old in any capacity Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations
  • for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib Must meet background check eligibility Don't meet every qualification?
