Job Description

Join World Academy's Early Education Team! Are you a passionate and energetic early childhood educator looking for a supportive, engaging, and growth-oriented workplace? World Academy is seeking a full-time Lead Older Infant Teacher to join our dedicated team of educators who believe in the power of play-based learning and whole-child development. Why Join Us? Our teachers:
Are professionals and find joy in educating young children Design and implement creative, developmentally appropriate curriculum Work closely with co-teachers, support staff, and administration Build strong relationships with families and the school community Engage in ongoing professional development and leadership opportunities Position Overview Lead teachers at World Academy work as part of a co-teaching team to: Create and maintain a positive, engaging classroom environment Collaborate on the development and implementation of curriculum Support children's growth through observation and assessment Build strong communication with families and fellow educators Our philosophy centers on educating the whole child through meaningful, play-based experiences. We value educators who bring enthusiasm, professionalism, and a strong understanding of child development to their work.
Position Details:
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30
PM Compensation:
Starting at $19.23/hr, with increases based on education & experience
Sign-on Bonus:
$300
Qualifications:
Lead Teacher Preferred:
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field (18 ECE credits, including 3 in Child Growth & Development)
Associate Teacher Required:
Minimum of 9 ECE credits (including 3 in Child Growth & Development)
OR 1,000
hours in a licensed child care program + 3 credits in Child Growth & Development Knowledge of NH Early Learning Standards and developmentally appropriate practices is a plus!
