Job Description

Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Toddler Teacher to inspire and nurture the youngest learners in our early childhood education program. In this vital role, you will create a warm, engaging, and safe environment where toddlers can explore, learn, and develop essential skills. Your dedication will help lay the foundation for lifelong curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning. Responsibilities Design and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum plans that promote early literacy, math skills, social-emotional growth, and physical development tailored specifically for toddlers. Foster a nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management strategies. Engage children in hands-on activities that support childhood development milestones, including language acquisition, motor skills, and cognitive exploration. Collaborate with families to communicate progress, address individual needs— Manage classroom routines efficiently, including diapering, feeding, nap times, and transitions to ensure safety and comfort for all children. Maintain accurate records of lesson plans, child assessments, and standardized testing results to monitor progress and inform instruction. Experience Prior classroom experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is essential; experience with toddlers is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development theories and best practices in early childhood education. Experience developing curriculum content that includes literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and social skills development. Familiarity with behavior management techniques suitable for young children to foster positive classroom behavior. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and specialists.
Pay:
From $17.00 per hour
