JOB GOAL

To provide an approved educational program and establish a class environment that fosters learning and personal growth. To help students develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for continued education; and maintain good relationships with parents and other staff members.

QUALIFICATIONS

Valid New Jersey Department of Education Preschool - Grade 3 certificate or ability to obtain certification through the Limited Instructional Certification Program. Holder of Certificates of Eligibility must complete the 50-hour pre-professional experience as required by the NJ Department of Education. Demonstrates knowledge of effective teaching methods and developmentally appropriate classroom activities. Ability to maintain a positive learning environment. Effectively communicates and understands job instructions both verbally and written in the English language.
