Full-time Job Overview:
In partnership with the Cherry Hill School District, we are seeking a passionate and energetic P-3 Certified Teacher to teach the UPK program at The Goddard School of Cherry Hill for the 2026/2027 school year. In this role, you will create engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences for preschool children, fostering their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire young minds and support their early childhood development journey.
Responsibilities:
Foster a warm, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment where preschool-aged children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn. Implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities provided by the school curriculum. Maintain a positive classroom atmosphere by guiding behavior and ensuring a safe, supportive learning environment. Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues through effective and professional communication. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to strengthen teaching practices and stay current with early childhood education standards. Support each child's unique learning style and developmental needs while promoting social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field Must hold a valid New Jersey P-3 (Preschool through Grade 3) Teaching Certification. Strong classroom management skills with the ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with children, families, and colleagues. Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering children's growth and development. Experience working in preschool, Pre-K, or early childhood education settings preferred. Ability to support the diverse academic, social, and emotional needs of young learners. Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and school initiatives.
