Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher with a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential to inspire and nurture young learners. In this vital role, you will create a stimulating, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes early childhood development and learning. Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including curriculum development tailored to diverse learning needs Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies Support children's social-emotional development by encouraging cooperation, sharing, and respectful communication Conduct assessments of children's progress using standardized testing methods and document developmental milestones Collaborate with families to discuss progress, address concerns, and promote child welfare and well-being Incorporate Montessori principles and literacy education techniques to enhance learning experiences Support children with special education needs through early intervention strategies and individualized support plans Manage daily classroom activities, including toddler care, preschool routines, physical education, and other age-appropriate lessons Maintain a safe environment by adhering to childcare regulations and implementing health and safety protocols Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques Proven ability to work effectively with children across various age groups, including toddlers and preschoolers Familiarity with special education strategies, early intervention programs, and behavior management techniques Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners Ability to utilize standardized testing tools to assess student progress accurately Knowledge of Montessori methods and literacy education approaches to foster holistic learning Experience in daycare or private school settings is preferred but not required Skills in teaching physical education activities that promote motor skills development Compassionate approach to child welfare with a commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment Join us as an Early Childhood Teacher with CDA to ignite young minds and support their developmental journey!
