About the Role The Early Childhood Music & Movement Teacher plays an important role in supporting young children's academic, physical, social, and emotional development through music, movement, and creative expression. This position leads engaging, developmentally appropriate experiences that help children build rhythm, coordination, body awareness, confidence, and a lifelong joy of movement and music. This role is ideal for an educator who enjoys working with young children, values creativity and self-expression, and is passionate about fostering development through active, joyful learning experiences. What You'll Do Lead engaging, developmentally appropriate Music & Movement sessions for PK2, PK3, and PK4 students. Design experiences that support rhythm, coordination, spatial awareness, gross motor development, and creative expression. Create a joyful, inclusive learning environment that encourages participation, confidence, and self-expression. Model movement, musicality, and expressive language throughout instructional sessions. Collaborate with Music, PSPE, and classroom teachers to support aligned learning experiences across the curriculum. Observe and document student participation and development to inform planning and instruction. Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging learning environment. Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events as required. Support additional duties and projects as assigned by school leadership. Uphold school routines, expectations, and community values. What We're Looking For Excellent proficiency in spoken and written English. Experience working with young children, preferably ages 2-5. Strong understanding of early childhood development, particularly in movement, coordination, and creative expression. Ability to design and lead engaging, age-appropriate group learning experiences. Bachelor's degree in Education, Music, Movement, Physical Education, or a related field. Authorization to work in the United States. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Collaborative, flexible, and team-oriented mindset. Demonstrated empathy, professionalism, and a positive sense of humor. Commitment to diversity and inclusion. Preferred Qualifications Experience in early childhood music, dance, movement, or performing arts programs. Experience in an international or bilingual school environment. Cross-cultural competence and international experience. Experience supporting inquiry-based or child-centered learning environments. Compensation Salary:
