Floater Positions We are currently hiring for two (2) Floater roles (Part-Time):

Available Shifts:

Morning Shift | 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM Afternoon Shift | 12:00 PM - 6:30 PM As a Floater, you'll support multiple classrooms, step in where needed, and help ensure a safe, structured, and engaging environment for all children. Key Responsibilities Support classroom activities, lesson plans, and play-based learning across different age groups Float between classrooms to maintain proper staff-to-child ratios Supervise children indoors and outdoors to ensure safety and compliance Assist with daily routines including meals, rest time, toileting, and transitions Help maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and sanitization standards Promote positive behavior through patience, redirection, and encouragement Collaborate with teachers and staff to support daily operations Communicate respectfully with families as directed Follow all center policies, licensing regulations, and health/safety standards What You Bring Minimum Qualifications (Required under NJ DCF Chapter 52) High school diploma or GED required Child Development Associate (CDA) credential preferred (or willingness to complete within 2 years of hire) Minimum 2 years of experience in a licensed childcare or educational setting At least 16 years of age per

N.J.A.C. 3A

Pay:

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
