This person must have a genuine desire and love to give hugs, snuggles, have conversations with cooing and/or babbling babies, being silly to make the little ones smile and laugh and so much more happiness that comes along with caring for the innocent souls of infants. You also have to have a strong stomach for the less glamorous parts of being an infant caregiver•wiping the runny noses, cleaning spit up, changing diapers, etc. It is also a major bonus if you're comfortable talking about different bodily functions! Some of the other responsibilities of being an infant caregiver in our facility include:
MUST LOVE KIDS!

MULTI-TASKING IS A MUST!
The ability to recognize infant cues and meet the babies' emotional and physical needs. Able to maintain each child's individual schedule for feedings, naps and diaper changes. Change diapers every two hours or sooner if needed. Recognize infant developmental milestones and work toward progress in each area. Ability to update our app (Brightwheel) to keep parents informed on their child throughout the day. Maintain a safe and clean facility. By applying for our opening infant teacher and caregiver position, prepare yourself to laugh, love, and learn more about children•
