Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Preschool Lead Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a nurturing, engaging classroom environment. As the Lead, you will design and implement developmentally appropriate lessons that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. Your passion for working with children and expertise in early childhood education will help create a positive foundation for lifelong learning. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a vibrant classroom, collaborate with families, and make a meaningful impact on children's early development. Duties Develop and execute innovative lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards. Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence Manage daily classroom activities, behavior management strategies, and routines to support childhood development and child welfare Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address individual needs, and build strong partnerships Implement assessment tools to monitor developmental milestones and tailor instruction accordingly Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or childcare staff to ensure high-quality classroom management and childcare standards Qualifications Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting; prior preschool experience preferred Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and early intervention strategies Familiarity with lesson planning Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, staff, and community partners Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields; additional qualifications in special education or Toddler care are advantageous Ability to demonstrate patience, creativity, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for nurturing young learners
Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
