Job Description

Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment where infants can explore, learn, and develop essential skills. Your enthusiasm for early childhood education and expertise in toddler care will inspire young learners and support their growth during these formative years. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while working in a collaborative and supportive setting. Duties Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans tailored to infants' developmental stages, including literacy education, physical activities, and sensory exploration. Provide attentive toddler care by monitoring health, safety, and emotional well-being of each child throughout the day. Manage classroom activities with effective classroom management strategies to foster a positive learning environment. Support early intervention efforts by identifying developmental milestones and collaborating with specialists when necessary. Incorporate Montessori principles and other educational philosophies to enhance learning experiences. Maintain detailed documentation of each child's progress, behavior management strategies, and daily activities. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to share updates on their child's development, milestones, and classroom experiences. Qualifications Prior classroom experience working with children in early childhood settings, including preschool or daycare environments. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, colleagues, and specialists in early intervention or child welfare. Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable. Ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds and developmental needs in a nurturing manner.
