We are seeking an Infant Educator + Studio Steward to join our team (primarily working with children 6 weeks-20 months), helping create a space where children, families, and educators feel supported, connected, and cared for each day. This role is ideal for someone who loves working with infants and toddlers, but also finds joy in creating order, maintaining thoughtfully prepared environments, and ensuring that every detail of the children's studio supports children's well-being and learning. Partner closely with families through professional communication and thoughtful observation sharing. Help children feel safe, valued, and emotionally supported throughout the day. Create Exceptional Learning Environments Maintain a beautiful, organized, inviting classroom environment. Take ownership of studio systems, materials, inventory, and organization. Prepare, communicate, and execute engaging invitations and experiences that spark curiosity and exploration. Ensure materials are well-maintained, accessible, and developmentally appropriate. Support classroom cleanliness, organization, and readiness throughout the day. Support Daily Operations Anticipate studio and group needs before they become problems. Monitor supplies, diapers, materials, and studio inventory. Help ensure licensing, health, and safety standards are consistently maintained. Collaborate with teammates to create smooth transitions, routines, and daily operations. Notice details and proactively solve problems. Engage Fully With Children Sing, read, rock, cuddle, play, observe, and explore alongside children. Spend significant time on the floor and outdoors. Embrace sensory play, messy exploration, and child-led learning. Adapt plans based on children's interests, developmental needs, and emotional states. Who Thrives at bloom We're looking for someone who is: Deeply nurturing and relationship-centered. Naturally organized and detail-oriented. Calm under pressure and flexible when plans change. A team player who values collaboration and continuous growth. Qualifications Experience working with infants, toddlers, or young children. Strong understanding of child development and relationship-based care. Excellent communication skills with families and coworkers. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a calm presence. Comfort with physical caregiving, outdoor play, lifting, and active engagement throughout the day. Experience creating organized systems and maintaining classroom environments is highly valued. Alignment with bloom's philosophy is more important than a specific degree or credential. Why bloom Our team includes early childhood educators, social workers, child development professionals, and lifelong learners who believe that children deserve environments that are both deeply nurturing and intentionally designed.
We value:
Relationships over rigidity Curiosity over compliance Growth over perfection Beautiful, functional learning environments Collaboration, mentorship, and continuous professional development If you're the kind of person who notices when a shelf needs resetting, takes pride in creating calm and organized spaces, and believes that caring for children means caring for their environment too, we'd love to meet you.
