In this dynamic role, you will create a warm, engaging classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development. Your expertise will help lay the foundation for lifelong learning, ensuring each child feels valued, supported, and excited to explore the world around them. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages positive behavior management and supports diverse learning needs, including special education and early intervention strategies. Engage children in interactive activities that promote childhood development milestones such as social skills, language acquisition, and motor skills. Monitor and assess individual progress through observations and standardized testing, adjusting instruction to meet each child's unique needs. Foster effective communication with parents and guardians by providing regular updates on their child's development and behavior. Maintain classroom organization and management to ensure a productive learning atmosphere while adhering to mandated reporting laws related to child welfare. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, classroom management techniques, and best practices in early childhood education. Requirements Proven experience working with young children in a preschool or daycare setting, including classroom management and lesson planning. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and early intervention strategies. Familiarity with curriculum development tools such as Montessori methods or standardized testing procedures. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members. Certification or coursework in early childhood education or related fields; additional training in special education or literacy education is a plus. Knowledge of mandated reporting laws and child welfare policies relevant to early childhood settings. Passion for teaching preschoolers through engaging activities like physical education, tutoring sessions, and creative play.
