Job Description
Job Summary:
- We are seeking a nurturing and experienced Toddler Teacher to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs of students, focusing on social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Create a positive and supportive classroom environment, encouraging active learning and positive behavior.
- Supervise and engage with students during activities, including arts, music, and physical education.
- Manage classroom behavior and implement strategies to promote positive behavior and address misbehavior.
- Provide one-on-one support and special instruction to students as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and development.
- Communicate with parents and guardians, keeping them informed about their child's daily activities and progress.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure consistency and continuity of care and education.
- Engage with parents and guardians through regular meetings, conferences, and progress reports.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Experience:
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven experience working with young children, preferably in a preschool setting.
- A strong understanding of childhood development and the principles of early childhood education.
- Experience with behavior management and strategies to promote positive behavior.
- Familiarity with childcare and nannying practices.
- Ability to educate students in a fun and engaging manner, while also promoting their social and emotional development.
- Experience working with students with diverse needs and abilities.
- Excellent caregiving skills and the ability to provide high-quality care to students.
