Job Description

  • Job Summary:
  • We are seeking a nurturing and experienced Toddler Teacher to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching young children, a strong understanding of childhood development, and a commitment to providing a safe and engaging learning environment. This role is responsible for planning and implementing educational activities, ensuring the emotional and physical well-being of students, and collaborating with parents and other staff members.   • Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs of students, focusing on social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Create a positive and supportive classroom environment, encouraging active learning and positive behavior.
  • Supervise and engage with students during activities, including arts, music, and physical education.
  • Manage classroom behavior and implement strategies to promote positive behavior and address misbehavior.
  • Provide one-on-one support and special instruction to students as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and development.
  • Communicate with parents and guardians, keeping them informed about their child's daily activities and progress.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure consistency and continuity of care and education.
  • Engage with parents and guardians through regular meetings, conferences, and progress reports.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
  • Experience:
  • A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven experience working with young children, preferably in a preschool setting.
  • A strong understanding of childhood development and the principles of early childhood education.
  • Experience with behavior management and strategies to promote positive behavior.
  • Familiarity with childcare and nannying practices.
  • Ability to educate students in a fun and engaging manner, while also promoting their social and emotional development.
  • Experience working with students with diverse needs and abilities.
  • Excellent caregiving skills and the ability to provide high-quality care to students.
