Anticipated Opening Position Overview:

Ridgewood Public Schools is seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Integrated Preschool Teachers to serve students ages three through five in an inclusive early childhood program at Glen School. The teachers will provide instruction in a developmentally appropriate, integrated classroom setting that serves both general education and preschool disabilities students.

The ideal candidates will:

Experience teaching preschool-aged students (ages 3-5), preferably in an integrated or inclusive setting Strong knowledge of effective teaching methods and developmentally appropriate classroom practices Expertise in implementing multi-sensory and play-based instructional approaches Be skilled in strategic instruction and differentiated teaching techniques Possess behavior management training and skills Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills Collect and analyze student data to guide instruction and monitor progress Knowledge of early childhood special education regulations and IEP implementation Demonstrate independent initiative with his/her professional growth

Start and End Dates:

08/26/26-06/30/26 with 3 days for NTO in August Working Conditions Full-time, permanent position, medical benefits and pension. Salary range is $70,062-$125,242, commensurate with education and experience as per the negotiated contract. Other Requirements:

New Jersey Preschool through Grade 3 Teacher Certification New Jersey Teacher of Students with Disabilities or Teacher of the Handicapped Certification Design and implement developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with student IEP's and curriculum standards Provide differentiated instruction for both general education and preschool disabilities students in an integrated setting Knowledgeable about progress monitoring of goals and objectives, writing PLAAFPs, and overall IEP compliance Skilled in strategic instruction in the NJ Student Learning Standards Knowledge of multi-sensory, hands-on, and play based instructional strategies Must demonstrate independent initiative for professional growth Must be able to effectively communicate with teachers, parents, and administrators both verbally and in writing Must be able to work collaboratively and have experience maintaining harmonious relationships with students, colleagues and parents.
