Job Description

Summary Ellie's Academy is is looking to hire a Preschool Teacher , for their Somerville location; The teacher is responsible for establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment for all children within their care. The job description of a Teacher should entail, but not be limited to the following: create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans understand and support the program interact closely with children at their level keep children within sight and sound at all times communicate effectively & professionally with center staff, parents & children comply in all respects with all applicable laws and regulations relating to childcare Duties The job of a Teacher may also include establishing a positive family relations, maintain professional commitment, maintain safe and sanitary classrooms, support each child's social and emotional development and provide positive guidance. Requirements Minimum 1 year experience Nice To Haves 1 year experience Studying field of ECE (not required) CDA (not required)
