Immediate Summer Start to Stay for 2027-2027 School Year Bell's Little Learners Preschool is seeking a warm, energetic, and dedicated Co-Teacher to join our Young Preschool classroom team this summer. This position offers an exciting opportunity for growth and to transition into a Lead Teacher role in the Fall. Located in the heart of Westwood, NJ , our school is surrounded by a welcoming community of supportive families and a vibrant downtown area filled with local shops, restaurants, and cafes. It's the perfect place to enjoy a lunch break, run errands after work, or simply take a stroll through town. Responsibilities Partner with the teaching team to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment. Assist with planning and implementing age-appropriate lessons and activities. Communicate effectively and professionally with families regarding children's daily experiences and development. Support classroom management and guide children through social-emotional growth. Assist with potty training and the development of self-help skills. Observe and document children's progress and milestones. Help maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and safety. Support and collaborate with classroom assistants as needed. Foster a love of learning through play, exploration, and meaningful interactions. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred, OR Current Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential, OR Willingness to obtain a CDA. Previous experience working with young children preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Reliable, professional, and passionate about early childhood education.
