!! We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Lead Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a nurturing, engaging classroom environment. As a Preschool Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for designing and implementing developmentally appropriate curricula that promote early childhood education, social-emotional growth, and foundational skills in literacy, math, and physical activity. Your leadership will ensure a safe, inclusive space where children feel valued, supported, and excited to explore the world around them. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while collaborating with a team of committed educators. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including curriculum development for literacy, math, physical education, and social skills. Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management. Assess individual student needs through observations and standardized testing to tailor instruction and support early intervention strategies. Foster strong communication with parents and guardians through regular updates on children's progress and developmental milestones. Supervise classroom activities ensuring safety protocols are followed and that children are engaged in meaningful learning experiences. Collaborate with specialists in special education and child welfare to support children with diverse needs, including those requiring additional support in behavior management or early intervention. Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, lesson plans, and progress reports in compliance with licensing standards. Requirements Proven experience working with children in preschool or early childhood education settings; prior classroom management experience is essential. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and teaching methodologies such as Montessori or other child-centered approaches. Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention programs, and literacy education strategies. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and community partners. Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate physical activities like teaching physical education and promoting overall wellness. Certification or credential in early childhood education or preschool teaching is required; additional training in behavior management or special education is preferred. Passion for nurturing young minds and supporting their social-emotional growth within a safe daycare or private school environment.
