Job Description

Full Time Early Childhood Educator Fundamentals Child Development Center, LLC 209 N Auburn, Farmington, NM 87401 About Fundamentals Fundamentals is a high-quality, accredited early childhood program committed to providing meaningful, developmentally appropriate experiences for young children through a Reggio inspired philosophy. Our work is grounded in strong relationships, responsive teaching, and maintaining high standards aligned with state, federal, and accreditation guidelines. We are seeking a passionate and dependable Early Childhood Educator who is committed to supporting children's growth, development, and well-being in a collaborative and professional environment. Position Summary As a Full-Time Educator, you will play a key role in the daily care and education of young children. You will support the implementation of curriculum, conduct assessments, ensure a safe and engaging learning environment, and build strong partnerships with families. Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain engaging indoor and outdoor learning environments that support play, exploration, and safety
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum
  • Support children's development in social-emotional, physical, and cognitive domains
  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children at all times
  • Observe, document, and communicate children's development and progress
  • Build positive, professional relationships with families and communicate regularly about their child's experiences
  • Maintain accurate records of daily routines, meals, and activities
  • Model positive behavior and guide children in developing social and self-help skills
  • Collaborate with team members and participate in staff meetings and professional development
  • Follow all licensing regulations, program policies, and quality standards
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent At least 6 credit hours in Early Childhood Education (or willingness to complete within first year) or equivalent experience (5+ years in an early childhood setting) Willingness to enroll in an Early Childhood Education degree program if not already enrolled CPR & First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days) Ability to pass a background check
Preferred Qualifications:
