Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment for infants and toddlers, fostering their growth and development through age-appropriate activities and compassionate caregiving. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire young children to explore, learn, and thrive during their foundational years. Provide attentive care that meets each child's individual needs, including feeding, diapering, soothing, and supervising playtime. Create a warm, safe, and stimulating environment that encourages curiosity, social interaction, and emotional security. Observe and document children's progress, behaviors, and developmental achievements to inform ongoing care plans. Maintain open communication with parents or guardians regarding their child's daily activities, milestones, and any concerns. Manage classroom routines efficiently while ensuring compliance with safety standards and licensing regulations. Collaborate with team members to plan activities that support physical, cognitive, emotional, and social growth. Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles specific to infants and toddlers. Experience working with children in daycare settings or similar environments; preschool experience is a plus. Certification in first aid and CPR to ensure immediate response in emergencies. Familiarity with special education practices and working with individuals with disabilities is advantageous. Excellent classroom management skills combined with nurturing caregiving techniques. Ability to implement behavior management strategies that promote positive interactions. Effective communication skills for engaging with children, families, and team members.
