This position is ideal for someone who truly loves working with babies and understands the importance of creating a safe, responsive, and developmentally appropriate environment during a child's earliest years. Position Overview The Infant Teacher is responsible for providing attentive, loving care while supporting each child's physical, emotional, and cognitive development. You will create a calm and engaging classroom environment where infants feel secure, valued, and encouraged to explore. Key Responsibilities Provide responsive and individualized care for infants Follow feeding, diapering, and sleep schedules in accordance with licensing regulations Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote sensory exploration and early development Communicate daily with parents regarding their child's care, milestones, and needs Ensure all licensing, health, and safety requirements are consistently followed Work collaboratively with team members to maintain a positive and supportive workplace culture Qualifications Experience working with infants (childcare center experience preferred) Knowledge of infant development and developmentally appropriate practices CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain) Must meet state licensing requirements: Fingerprints and TB test. Warm, patient, and dependable personality Strong communication and teamwork skills
Hours Flexible Hours:
10am to 6pm or 12pm to 6pm.
