Preschool Substitute Teacher - On Call

Our dedicated team strives to nurture each child's spiritual, emotional, and educational development. We are currently seeking caring and enthusiastic Substitute Teachers to join our team!

Position Overview:

As a Substitute Teacher, you will step into the classroom to provide support and continuity in the absence of our regular teachers. You will help deliver a Christ-centered curriculum and ensure a safe and engaging environment for our preschoolers. This position offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience and may lead to future classroom teaching roles for those interested!

Key Responsibilities:

Implement lesson plans and engage children in age-appropriate activities that incorporate biblical principles. Supervise and support children during playtime, meals, and rest periods, fostering a sense of community and kindness. Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to ensure a positive experience. Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as needed.

Qualifications:

Experience working with young children in a preschool or childcare setting is preferred. A heart for serving children and a passion for early childhood education rooted in Christian values. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt quickly and work collaboratively as part of a team. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Ability to meet all NV State Childcare Licensing requirements, background check, negative TB test, and ongoing training is required.
