Full Job Description About Us:

Just Kidding Learning Center is a nurturing, hands-on childcare center serving children from 6 weeks to 12 years old. We pride ourselves on creating a safe, structured, and loving environment where children can grow, learn, and thrive. We are currently looking for a dedicated and compassionate Infant Teacher to join our team!

Position Overview:

Our Infant Teacher will provide attentive, loving care to our youngest learners while supporting their developmental milestones. This role requires patience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a calm, structured classroom environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for infants Follow all licensing regulations and center policies Maintain proper ratios and active supervision at all times Feed infants according to individual schedules and parent instructions Change diapers every 2 hours (or as needed) Accurately log all feedings, diaper changes, naps, and activities in Procare Engage infants in age-appropriate activities to support development Maintain open and professional communication with parents Ensure classroom cleanliness, including daily cleaning tasks and organization Complete name-to-face checks regularly for safety

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years old Previous childcare experience preferred (infant experience a plus) Must be able to pass a background check CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain) Must be reliable, patient, and attentive Able to lift, carry, and sit on the floor as needed Strong time management and ability to multitask Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
