We currently have a position available for a Preschool Teacher. We are looking for a professional who can assist in maintaining a safe, nurturing and fun learning environment. This position is Part Time Monday-Friday. The hours include 12:30pm - 5:30 pm. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for caring and teaching in the 3/4 year old classroom. Responsibilities will include assisting and creating a foundation in our children's education as well as social and emotional development. We are a fun workplace and provide many incentives to our staff. If you are looking for a quality program and want to adhere to professional standards in education, then we are the program for you. We want our staff to grow in the field of Early Childhood and to value making a difference in our young childrens lives.PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE
- Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards.
- Provide enriching and age appropriate hands on activities.
- Keeping the classroom a safe/clean place for learning and fun.
- Teachers must understand children's cognitive, social, emotional and physical development in order to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment.
PRESCHOOL TEACHING EXPERIENCE
- Highschool Diploma
- Current Washoe County Sheriff's Permit
- 1 year classroom experience
