Full Job Description About Us:

Just Kidding Learning Center is a hands-on, nurturing childcare center serving children from 6 weeks to 12 years old. We are committed to providing a safe, structured, and engaging environment where children can learn and grow. We are currently looking for a strong, dependable Toddler Teacher to join our team!

Position Overview:

Our Toddler Teacher will guide children through one of the most important stages of development—building independence, communication, and social skills. This role requires patience, consistency, and the ability to manage an active classroom while creating a structured and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide a safe, clean, and structured classroom environment Maintain proper ratios and active supervision at all times Create and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities Support toddlers in developing social, emotional, and language skills Assist with transitions such as meals, nap time, and routines Implement potty training routines by taking children to the bathroom every 30-45 minutes (as developmentally appropriate) Change diapers every 2 hours (or as needed) Accurately log meals, diapers, naps, and activities in Procare Maintain open, professional communication with parents Ensure classroom cleanliness and follow daily cleaning procedures Conduct regular name-to-face checks for safety

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years old Previous toddler/childcare experience preferred Must be able to pass a background check CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain) Able to lift, bend, and sit on the floor regularly Strong classroom management and multitasking skills Reliable, patient, and consistent
