Daycare Assistant

Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Daycare Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children and a commitment to fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. As a Daycare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily activities of our daycare program, ensuring that each child receives the attention and care they need to thrive. Responsibilities Assist in the supervision and care of children in a daycare setting. Implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Support behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions among children. Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment. Assist in diaper changing and infant care as required. Collaborate with lead teachers to create an engaging curriculum tailored to the needs of each child. Requirements Previous experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting is preferred. Knowledge of behavior management techniques to support positive child interactions. Experience in babysitting, nannying, or caregiving roles is advantageous. Familiarity with early childhood education principles is a plus. Ability to provide infant care, including diaper changes and feeding. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff. A genuine love for working with young children and helping them grow. Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm are essential traits for success in this role.
