Job Description

Kiddie Academy of Briarcliff Manor, a brand-new , state-of-the-art early childhood education center is growing with enrollment and we are looking for passionate, experienced Lead Infant and Toddler Teachers to join our expanding team! This is a unique opportunity to help shape the culture, environment, and educational excellence of a new school. About Us Kiddie Academy of Briarcliff Manor is committed to creating a nurturing, structured, and developmentally rich learning environment where children (ages 6 weeks - 5 years) can explore, grow, and thrive. Our play-based curriculum supports each child's individuality through hands-on learning, creativity, curiosity, and joyful discovery. Responsibilities of Lead Teachers Plan and implement a developmentally appropriate, play-based curriculum aligned with Kiddie Academy's Life Essentials philosophy. Create a warm, organized, and engaging classroom environment that promotes exploration, independence, and social-emotional growth. Lead, mentor, and support Assistant Teachers in a collaborative and respectful team environment. Communicate regularly and effectively with families regarding daily experiences, milestones, and developmental progress. Maintain continuous supervision and ensure the health, safety, and well-being of every child. Conduct age-appropriate assessments, observations, and documentation of child development. Maintain a clean, structured, and inviting classroom environment. Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and ongoing training opportunities. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in Early Childhood Education (preferred) AA/BA in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Educational Studies, Special Education, or a related field OR Child Development Associate Certificate (CDA) Strong communication and classroom management skills. Strong leadership and classroom management skills Ability to communicate professionally and compassionately with families Must meet all NY state licensing requirements CPR/First Aid certification (provided if needed) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
